EndNote Basics (Bibliographic Management Software)
EndNote is bibliographic management software which allows you to search online bibliographic databases, organize your references, and create bibliographies instantly. This 1.5 hour hands-on class will introduce attendees to the basic and most used functions of Endnote. Attendees will learn:
- how to create and/or customize your own personal library of references
- how to import PubMed search results into an EndNote Library
- how to utilize the direct export feature in Ovid
- how to insert a citation in a word document, format the citation and build a bibliography
- using Cite While You Write
- how to create a standalone bibliography
- how to attach a full-text pdf to your library
